Design and Engineering

The design process can start from your product documents or you can provide us with your CAD files. In either case our Design and Engineering Department will make sure the dimensional data and specifications are correct for the mold making process to begin. Our customers benefit from our years of experience working with numerous materials from engineered resins, carbon and glass filled Ultem to Stainless Steel filled PC/ABS. Once your design has passed our rigorous Quality Control, it is ready to move on to our Tooling and Mold Making department.

Mold Making

A unique feature of Millar Industries' Services is the fact that we produce our own molds right here in our 27,000 sq. ft. facility in Arden, NC. Our Tooling and Mold Making Department insures that we monitor every step of the mold making process for the highest quality final molds. An injection molded product is only as good as its mold. Once we have the your mold created, the project moves on to our injection molding process assisted by our Robots. Our investment is Robotic Assisted Manufacturing allows Millar Industries to boost production upon demand while maintaining accurate quality assurance.


Early in the last decade Millar Industries realized the significant benefit our production process could achieve by providing an Assembly Services Department for the products we manufacture in-house at our production facility. In 2007, we invested in the skilled personnel and infrastructure required to extend our Quality Control System to provide a turn-key manufacturing / assembly solution for our Customers. Today, from product inception to final product assembly and shipping, the entire process can be performed in-house at Millar Industries. The result has been an overwhelming success with the complete ability to insure all stages of product development are monitored by Millar Industries.
